I'm your average American Muslim you don't see in the media. The only thing I have bombed is a test. I cried. I love Seoul, Korea. I studied abroad there. In the future with globalization running around, your kids might look something like me: maybe modern yet traditional-- maybe modest yet beautiful. I was born in San Fransisco to an Israeli mother and Palestinian father part South Asian, Russian, Yemeni, Egyptian, etc-- have a mess of other ethnicities and religions in my family. I am your ethnic kid who attends Smith College, who stays active in community service and interfaith work and who has an uncommon love for Islam, religious pluralism, art and matzah ball soup. سلام/שלום/ ☮ /안녕!
